Faith & Dana's Wedding

On June 1, 2002, Dana and I were married at the Grill of the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, a place filled with people very near and dear to us. We were joined by forty of our friends and family for an evening of jazz music, amazing food and very possibly too much wine. Dana and I talk fondly about the wedding and were we to do it again, there's not a single thing we would change.

The entire event was seamlessly pulled off by the herculean efforts of maitre d'hotel Agnes Mouton and her dedicated cadre of ladies and gentlemen. I designed my dress with Julia Elena of Casa Mauricio, and ended up with the dress of my dreams. The fabulous Terry Smith created the riot of flowers adorning the room and the bridal party. The food was the creation of chef de cuisine George Chaffman, whose interpretation of our requests was no less than sublime. Each course was paired with a different wine, and looking away from one's glass for even an instant caused it to magically refill itself. Our cake was a triple chocolate mousse cake that's a staple at the Ritz, reengineered to be on a larger scale than usual. Music was provided by the Bill Harris Trio (we love Bill's "Linus and Lucy" so much that we incorporated it into the recessional).

Here's a sample of photos, from our friends at The Photographer's Gallery -- Len DePas, Davide DePas, and Cris Molina are the finest photographers we've ever had the pleasure to spend time with.

Woohoo!!
